It’s a great asset when it comes to performance tier. It’s compact, and yet it delivers fabulously. The type of clay that is used is working well. It transfers the heat efficiently, and it doesn’t char the flavors as you might thing because of the dimension. The soft edge of the rim makes it easier to drum tight a foil and the ridge around the bowl gives more leverage to secure the foil. Regarding the overall height, the thickness compensate the absorption of the heat, but it might gets hot to handle at the end of the session. With this bowl, you can easily put for blonde leaves or dark leaves. It also fits with a lotus type heat management device.
But I find that it works best with foil and a provost 2 from AppleOnTop. It’s definitely in my rotation on my daily basis. I would recommend this if you’re looking for a versatile bowl (blonde/dark leaves, foil/lotus). With 15 grams of flavors, it is capable for a 1h30 session at least with only 2 coconuts coals (25mm cube).
