You won’t know that you need it until you try it ! Assuming that a regular aluminum foil is about 12-16 mic thick and we usually use 2 layers of foil at least (so 24-36 mic), you will only need to use 1 layer of this one, because it is 38 mic thick. It means that it is stronger, it won’t rip as easily. you can stretch it and have a perfect drum tight foil. For the price, you get a nice 30 meter, which is good and reasonable for its convenience.
The only thing that I dislike, is about its width. I’m used to the sheet you get once you cut one from the regular one ( about 15cm x 15cm). so with this foil roll (12cm x 12cm), you might find it a little bit short if your have a large bowl.
But it’s perfect for my need : the mini rook alpaca, medium apache alpaca, pilz urb, pyra urb, for gravyl and helyx 2 from masonshishaware, etc.
